Running for women for fitness and fun!
  • BE SEEN - wear your reflective gear when running in the dark, bright colours in the day. 
  • BE COMFORTABLE - make sure you are wearing shoes designed for running and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.  Do you need sunscreen or a hat? 
  • BE IDENTIFIABLE - are you carrying ID?
  • BE AWARE - are headphones a good idea if you are out on your own, can you hear traffic or someone coming up behind you?
  • BE HYDRATED - have you had enough to drink - WATER!
  • BE CONFIDENT - take no notice of 'hecklers'.
  • BE SAFE - run with company, does anyone know where you are?  Could you contact someone if necessary (mobile 'phone?)
  • BE SOCIABLE - preferably run with a group - WORTHING RUNNING SISTERS!
