WORTHING RUNNING SISTERS CALENDAR -  June 2010-Sept 2010

Longest run is 6 miles, usually the route is less.There is always a shorter option, walking and jogging if necessary.

14 June
Walberton (turn south off the A27 down the Yapton Road B2132 or come up from Yapton. Follow signs to the Village Hall and park in the car park). Flat 6m run though woods and across fields, with more than one short cut option.

21 June
Storrington Rise, Findon (head up the Findon Road, turn right into Maytree Ave just before Bost Hill, bear left and follow the P signs to the car park). Run around Rogers Farm.

28 June
Sandhill Lane (head north up A24, turn right at Washington roundabout, Sandhill Lane is immediately on the left). Buncton and lower slopes of Chanctonbury is 5m, short course, which is almost totally flat and off-road will turn before Wiston and return.

5 July
Goring Gap – Summer Social - rounders followed by fish & chips.
6.00pm run, 7.00pm rounders, 8.00pm fish & chips. Bring money (correct amount if possible), cutlery, plate.

12 July
Sainsbury, Lyons Farm – meet top/north end of car park, by the recycling bins. Head for Cissbury Ring.

19 July
Sainsbury, Rustington - Across the golf course to Poling, back through the Nurseries and back through Angmering.

26 July
Botolphs car park – take the A283 from Shoreham, the car park is on the left after the cement works. Run along the river to Bramber then Beeding Hill and back on the SDW.

2 August
Washington-meet by the Frankland Arms. Head for the South Downs Way, down to Sullington and back across the fields, short course turns sooner.

9 August

Grand Avenue Worthiing-south end. Beach run, out and back on the sand. Wear your oldest shoes and bring a spare pair to drive home in.

16 August
Buckingham Park, Shoreham – park in the road at the top (north) end. Variation on the old Adur 10k route.

23 August
Lancing Manor – arrive in good time in case you have to park in the road. Run through the College grounds and back along the river.

30 August
Bank Holiday

6 Sept
Goring Gap – twiddle through Ferring to Kingston Gorse and back along the seafront.

13 Sept
Beach Green, Lancing – along the Widewater, past the houseboats and back along the road.

20 Sept
Davison Leisure Centre – quarterly planning meeting, short run after.

27 Sept
Sainsbury, Rustington - Jane’s run – head for Littlehampton and back along the seafront
